Outline tide and moon information for September

Moon in September: New Moon 29th, First Quarter 7th, Full Moon 14th, Third Quarter 21st.
The moon is a principal factor in the state of tides. New and full moons will yield spring tides, first or last quarter neap tides. Springs are very high and very low, neaps moderate movement. Low spring tides will give plenty of beach space available or foreshore to explore. On high spring tides there will be a minimum of beach space and foreshore available.
